Sorry for the long delayed response, I went looking for my paperwork at the time you asked this and had already lost it!

Thank you for posting back. I did have this update performed a couple weeks ago along with an update for the 7" MyLink. Car has been running quite well since last summer.

Re: Malibu 2016 LS "Reduced Power steering Assist"

Let me know if you notice any oddities after the update, I have noticed since the update I will get the seat belt chime after I'm already moving with my seat belt on, it chimes twice and then goes off, nothing comes up on the display, Its only happened a few times now, so one thing gets fixed with the software update and another thing happens. not a huge deal but I may ask if there are any updates to the software again when I go in the next time.

Did you happen to have anything on your passenger's seat? If it registers a certain weight limit, it will chime to let you know the passenger's seat belt is not on. I've had it happen with just my gym bag so I buckle my bag in and take off. lol..

Haven't noticed anything odd. As of right now there are no other updates beyond what we got. You can check for updates to any system using your vin: https://tis2web.service.gm.com/tis2web

Thanks for the info and the Link, it happens very seldom and never happened before the update, might just be a coincidence.
