Gen 9 Aftermarket LED tail lights opinions

As I was in Asia the last 7 years I dealt with manufacturers for led tail lights and had led tail lights made for the yf Sonata. I just came back and purchased a 2016 Malibu LT (still got my old 08 Malibu LT and gen9 is so better haha) anyways I spoke with the manufacturer that mass produced my Sonata tail lights and asked him to do for the new Malibu. These are the designs he asked me about doing:

I like the second one best, first one see too many cars with that style, third won't look great because of the two separate angles, fourth is similar to the one I like and the last is too similar to the Oem led tails.

What's your opinion?

Better than the rest IMHO.. mfg asked me to verify design and says they will finish within the next three months ... so that's why need to finalize the design

Re: Gen 9 Aftermarket LED tail lights opinions

I like the style of the 2nd one the best except for one thing: I prefer an amber turn signal and it looks like it's red. The 3rd one has the right colors but the inner design duplicates the outer design. I like the way the colors are mingled.

Put the 2nd and 3rd together and I'd say you have a winner!

The 5th one has the little round "beady eyes" in the middle of an otherwise beautiful design. I'm not in favor of mixing the two, but to each their own.

Re: Gen 9 Aftermarket LED tail lights opinions

They won't have red signals but rather amber sequential signals because IMHO red signals look cheap

Re: Gen 9 Aftermarket LED tail lights opinions

Before thinking of smoked or tinted we kinda need to finalize which one hahah....

The faster we all (us Malibu owners) decide on design the faster it goes into production ... hmmm... I should make a poll....would be easier to see which is best

This is amazing and all that I need for my car.
Any of these beside the last (stock?) would be Phenomenal!
Please, I need this in my life asap.

The first seems too much. They must look like one shape and not like the stock repeat look.
I would not follow the exact shape of the lense.
Coming straight across the two lenses and down helps that wide low look we all love.
Like straight across from the highest point on the innermost lense angle by the license plate.
Then you could come angled up to the top corner with one line and angle down with the other. But again, don't bring the lower line angle all the way to the corner of the lense.

this is perfect shape with style IMHO
I like the shape of 4 and the finishof 3!
Hit me up any time if I can help or whatever

Is there a 'tuner' type following for US domestics?

POLL: Aftermarket Tail light design

I just posted another thread about this and a lot of views but very few feedback so I figured a Poll would be a better option as the silent lurkers can just vote without commenting making the finalized design faster. SO give in your vote!

I will be very deeply part of this as I myself just picked up a 9th gen to replace my 7th gen (which I still have) Personally I like the second best because I like the bottom mounted signal more and the visible LED diodes and Celis lines
