Re: Sirius XM Radio/Renewal

I just renewed for $85 +/-, it is the updated version of the previous $77 deal. Total cost with taxes was less than $100. Then I found out they are giving 60 channels for free to people who had their subscriptions expire. I put two of my radios on seasonal hold and XM went off for a couple of days and came back on the day the 60 channel deal started. Another good deal is the $25 for 5 months deal I had on the seasonal radios. I only had them active during the summer months until the new deal showed up.

Re: Sirius XM Radio/Renewal

They charged my card $190 for a year. I called them up, took me 3 days to get my money back.
I was about to renew, but after they got their hands in my pockets, i cancelled and I will never ever give them another dime. Hell, i don't want it even if it's free. The "paid" idea was commercial free radio. Screw that $#$%, the blue collar radio station has more ads than a porn site. mp3s FTW.

Now here is a man after my own heart. I dumped XM and they will never see another dime from me. I get weekly offers,$25 for 6 mos, free activation, Bla Bla Bla, Never Never Never.

Re: Sirius XM Radio/Renewal

I just finished my $25 for 6 month deal. I called to cancel, and they wanted to offer me the same promotion again. I don't like the hassle, so I ended the service completely.

Soooo glad I have a lifetime subscription to an accessory tuner that can go in any car and I have a cradle that lets me hear it on my home stereo!

Re: Sirius XM Radio/Renewal

I just got my annual bill for something like $175. I called & said I had seen online deals for $86.00 & I wanted to renew for that amount. The rep was very nice, and approved it right away. With tax & copyright fees it came to about $96. Here's a tip: DON'T let them keep your credit card on file because they will automatically renew for the full rate after the year is up. Tell them NO AUTOMATIC RENEWAL.
