Exclamation Takata Defective Air Bags

Takata air bags were just on the news for shrapnel hurting people when they deployed. Per the CBS Morning News, Honda was the biggest purchaser of Takata air bags but a number of other brands use their product as well.

This recall is almost five times larger than GM's ignition switch recall!

Per the following NHTSA link, the brands mentioned are BMW, Chrysler, Ford, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Toyota, and Mitsubishi.

The following website for International Business Times adds Acura, Infiniti, Lexus, Pontiac, Saab, and Subaru along with a detailed list of years and models affected. (Honda makes Acura, Toyota makes Lexus, Nissan makes Infiniti.)
