I might complain about the mileage and the rear seat leg room though.

For the record I never have passengers, but if I did they would complain.

No offense, but if I didn't need my car to carry passengers there are SOOOO many other cars that I would have been looking at than a 4 door family sedan.

None taken, each of us has our own opinion. Believe me I looked, if the 2013 was a body style like yours there's no way in he!! I would have even considered it. My opinion, no offense.

@mzodarg, how are you liking the 2013 Malibu LTZ?

Thank you for sharing your feedback about the rear passenger leg room.

If you don't mind me asking, how many miles did you have on your eco and how much did they give you for it?

My car and i paid mid 33k for the ltz, I had 14K miles on the car,
you figure, that out right I could have purchased the LTZ for 31K MSRP was 35ish. As I stated earlier, I am Friends with one of the owners and he used some vouchers and other incentives, so I didn't take it in the shorts to bad. I also think the 1.89 percent interest for 75 months was also a gift from my friend.

I don't keep a car long so 75 months and a lower payment was worth it to me.

I like the design, it's a lot more stylish than the body design of the previous generation.

I bought my Eco 2 weeks ago, trading in a 2008 Honda Accord. I haven't regretted it yet.
I still don't understand the negative reviews on the Eco.

I don't understand the bad reviews either. Rear leg room critique has validity, but I just slide my front seats up a bit when I have rear travelers (only about 5% of the time).

Referring to GMs planned refresh...while I do like the more aggressive, camaro-like front end of the Impala, it is going to take a lot more than a front end redesign to satisfy the critics.

@nishijb and tradosaurus

It gets poor reviews in comparison to other cars in its class. You can buy a new '13 base model Altima, Accord, or Camry and get the same fuel economy as the added-cost Malibu Eco. The Altima and Accord also offer better driving dynamics, faster acceleration, and roomier back seats.

The midsize class is very competitive and the Malibu is just at the bottom of the ranks in several key attributes including fuel economy.
