I would love that grill. The current grill already stands out on the Black Metallic...that would just make it POP!

I'm just debating if I would want to do it since I'm on a Smart Buy.

Would the mesh on these grills affect air flow into the engine? Will it "attract" more bugs that need to be cleaned off? ;)

I don't see why it would affect any air flow, I mean, there is already a black mesh grill on the malibu. As far as attracting more bugs, the only issue I see with that is that you'd have an extra grill on the bottom to clean. Not that big of a deal. When I get some extra money and after window tint, I'll be getting this. Hopefully by August, so don't expect some pictures until then. :)

It is hard to tell from the picture, but it looks really similar to the LTZ grill, the only difference would be it is stainless.

I would like the stainless better than the plastic.

I had asked about a similar G'Pewter with the c/c and was told there was no way to get it.

I went to several dealerships and asked them to try and order it for me, all but one told me no. The one I got it from found it at another dealership. From what I have been told I own 1 of 2 like this in the western US. I don't know how they managed to get that combo, because you can't special order it on the GM website either, but I got it. And for a good price too. I am stoked. Didin't think it was possible. Just as I was getting used to the idea of ebony/brick interior.

VERY nice. It almost looks better than the LTZ grill. I'd put on my 'bu.

i'd put it on mine too but it sounds like a lot of work and i don't want to go about messing with the front end of the car and taking it off and what not. plus i'm not sure if too many shops around here have even seen a 2008 malibu so i don't really want to be a guinea pig for them. ah well i'll wait a year or two. :D
