My Malibu was made in Kansas City Mo. I'm curious if the Malibu is also made in another plant.

I found my answer, it is also made in Lake Orion Mich. which is near Detroit.
If the members in Canada check the sticker on the inside of the door it probably shows Lake Orion.

Wow. My avalanche is made in Mexico and Grand Prix in Canada. I won't know what to do with a car made in the US! :)

No Kansas City is in Missouri, the mid-west US.

Yes there is one more plant, its Orion plant in suburban Detroit.

Mine came from the Fairfax Assembly (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairfax_Assembly) plant.

I read that the Kansas City plant was on strike for awhile, but could not find any more info to see how long that lasted. Maybe that's why your car came from Lake Orion.

My car came from the Lake Orion plant. It was made 11/07.

The Fairfax plant's physical address is Kansas City, KS. There is no "Fairfax, KS". It's located in the Fairfax industrial district, which is just south of the Missouri river is KS. The river divides KS/MO for the northern half of the city.

My LTZ was built in Lake Orion, MI. on 04/08 :)

My dealer told me the Kansas City Fairfax plant strike ended last week, so maybe production will catch up . And maybe we will not see Kansas City cars delivered to Eastern Canada :)
