Wondering if anyone in this region would be willing to participate in a all GM meet in the near future, say maybe in the Spring?

Depends where/when.

Probably in the Spring, somewhere in the midwest that anyone who is gonna come won't mind a little drive. I've been to Chicago in the past two years with meets from a group of Malibu and Grand Am owners.

i would be interested if it were somehwere around chicago.

Any interest in starting to plan for a meet of Malibu owners from the forum in the Spring of 2010? In Chicago?

How about in the spring? I can get something arranged with a guy in the Chicago area, more like Antioch, and plan it as a day event or two days.

I had bumped this thread for the purpose of a Spring 2010 meetup, so yeah that sounds good as maybe a Saturday Event...

Antioch is north but hopefully that would also allow rockford/chicago/milwaukee members to come.... I dont mind a bit of road time, seems like this is something that is desired with a few quick replies!

I'll talk with my friend from there about this then. Him and I can get something set up and even put the event on several sites to get everyone who's interested, usually he posts threads on meets on Grand Am GT's forum as well as United Malibu's. I usually pass it along to other sites.

I would probably attend assuming the date is free for me.

UPDATE, I've talked with my friend from the Chicago area and we've agreed on either the second to last weekend or the last weekend of April for this, in fact there migh even be a place that will host the meet. Let me know so my friend can get arrangements made.

No offense, but I would hardly call Louisville, KY "central located" for the Great Lakes region. At best that would be the far southern tip... Now if this was a national Malibu meet...

I'm still in as the initial kick-off guy from way back when... Any word on the other Malibu forums getting in on this Great Lakes meet?
