mines quiet. Tell the dealer again that it bothers you.

Mine is quiet as well, BUT an '09 LTZ V6 I drove earlier had a noticeable power steering sound that immediately sounded strange to me vs. others I had been in. Either a fluid issue or a bad pump, among other things...it happens. Some Aura V6's with the hydraulic steering have had a few power steering noises, similarly, but nothing too common.

Does it FEEL at all different with the sound?

Is it the sound you get when you turn the wheel all the way to one side or the other?

My 2009 2LT with the v6/hydraulic makes a slight noise if I have the wheel cranked all the way in either direction. It doesn't seem to feel any different. I assumed this was normal.

Yea, mine does that too, that's why I was asking. I think that wheel being turned all the way kinda pushs against the limits deal, hence the slight whining...

But, if it is doing it for you all the time, that seems odd.

I too have this sound but only if I do a complete turn of the steering wheel in either direction, like when attempting a u-turn.

However, I am pretty sure this is normal for the face that when I read reviews about the car, the one negitive that came back a few times was "loud power steering".

But if your car is making this on basic turns, then I might have a dealer look at it. Otherwise, I think it is nothing serious.

Seems like they went to the trouble of making the cabin one of the quietest around, just so you can enjoy a never-ending concert of funky little sounds.Squeaks and creeks, etc.

I don't have any crazy noises. The only thing I hear is when I turn to the max possible it makes a little noise, but this is to be expected.
