Front end clunk: Simple Fix?

Taken from a saturn Aura forum member about the front end clunk. He believes that the sound he was hearing was coming from a plastic pan that is loose under the front of his car. His fix sounds ok and is worthy of looking into. The pan is called the "Splash Shield" and is located under the radiator. check it out. (#4)

i have seen this make a noise on a G6, as it was loose. depends on the clunk, alot of items make different noises, and depending on the noise, that is what you base your diagnosis off to chase a specific part. also if you can feel it, that will help out alot as to guide you into what part may be bad or loose.
