Thouhgt I would start a thread of likes / dislikes (pros /cons) about my 09 2LT V6.

So that there is some context my previous car was an 05 LS V6 'Bu.

Likes:
Gas shocks that are used in the hood and trunk.
Front doors that do not "fight" back i.e. the 09 has better detents when opening the doors.
Quieter than my 05
Way more legroom in the back.
Hydraulic steering (way more feedback)
Heated seats, remote start (both a definite must)
Auto-dimming interior mirror
Value for money (had to get that in there)
The engine response and power
Dislikes
Window washer nozzles (the ones in the 05 were built in to the wiper, messed up the paint less)
On/off buttons for the seats (when using gloves kind of hard to get feedback)
Adjustable pedals were taken off the option sheet in 09.
Drivers seat could go down another cm or 2
Jury still out
6sp tranny that has a habit of shifting down way too soon, even when in manual mode

The 09 has about 2100 Km's on it.

Very happy with my 08 LTZ smooth,quiet,Fast. XM radio, leather,ACC. my only "con" is getting in and out :D car sits low and my old bones creak and groan :rolleyes:

My only dislike is the trunk opening is way too small, considering it's size. It's
diffecult to get larger items in there. Other than that, I love my LTZ to death,
6 sp shifting issues and all (it really doesn't bug me). :)

I am with JDouglee that the trunk opening is too small (couldn't get an old computer monitor in there the other day). Also visibility isn't great to the side because of the columns.

Love the bluetooth phone hookup, iPod jack, heated seats, remote start.

I find I don't use the manual shift very often unless in stop and go traffic.
