Hey new member here.

I just picked up a 03 Malibu which is very nice except the carpet is coming free in the passenger area near the door sill.

Does anyone know if the plastic panels near the door sill that cover the carpet just pop off or are they feastened somehow? What kind of glue should I use to put the carpet back down ?

The plastic trim panels by the door just pop off. Just pull them off easly becuase the clip might come off and go flying somewhere. For the carpet just use a heavy duty adhesive spray glue and you should be fine. Just make sure the carpet of floor is not wet.
