I noticed this morning that the theftlock light by the tach stayed on for the entire drive in to work. I'm curious if this is normal and I've never noticed it before, or if something is wrong. I did have both the bluetooth update and the recall work done to my car recently.

i was under the assumption that if there is an error in teh system it will do that, or if someone has attempted to gain entry to the vehicle and set off the alarm. Of course that's just what I learned having read through the manual and learned about they system from the dealership as well.

Mine never does that...sounds suspicious. I wonder if it's related to your recent bluetooth trouble.

It didn't do it when I checked at lunch. Perhaps the door was opened or something weird to trigger the theftlock system and that was a notification.

If it's illuminated, the alarm had been previously activated. The light resets next time the car is turned on.
