I'd be concerned how well the paint would hold up if it is a daily driver. Powder coat, if possible, would be the way to go I think.

I just received this wheel for my 09 bu I have ordered.

Go to this site and you can change the color of the wheel and the spokes as you like.

It is called a KONIG HOT SWAP. I ordered a White bu and will put on the BLACK base wheel with CHROME spoke inserts.

Check this site and you can try all the different color inserts.

You can get a Black or Chrome based rim. Then spokes in Chrome, Red, Black or Carbon Fiber look. And Im thinking you cold get a set of the spoke fillers and PAINT it to what ever you wanted. They are a heavy plastic that you bolt to the spokes with a heavy duty screw.
