Anyone out there know of any cold air packages or good programs to reflash the pcm's? if i get more performance as a side effect so be it.

There are none that I'm aware of though I haven't even looked. The only thing I can say is be careful with the computer upgrades because GM has supposedly started voiding warranties because of it.

Also, you will get marginal results from a cold air setup. If you're lucky you'll gain 1 mpg, and at that rate it'd take years to make up what it cost for the cold air setup.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, I'm just trying to save you money in the long run.

you can use a custom tuning program I believe (hp tuners), as far as CAI look into the cobalt world. some of the ss balts came with 2.4's

Tires and tire pressure can make a big difference in Mileage. I'm going to buy a set of these tires when my original tires wear out:

I would use a scan gauge. It has more features than the dash info. Your can pull codes and most engine data. Used on on my hybrid works great for improving mpg!
