MSRP is 24700, invoice was around 21k something.

I'm trying to get a monthly payment around 300

Trading in a 06 malibu with 44k miles, they offered me 7500 for it

but i could only get them to $369 a month. Final price was 23k something.

They recommended I buy a LS instead.

So I walked and they said the GM wasn't there and maybe he would have approved the price so i'm gonna wait for a call on monday from them hoping they call me

What you all think? Think it can be done? Get it for that price?

Could you try and extend the finance period? Say from 3 years to 4?

That might lower the payments, but increase the interest rate.

At a payment of $369 financing $23k I'll bet they are already at 72 months. The sticker on our 1LT was $24,7xx, and we paid $21,xxx at supplier pricing with rebates included, so they are probably giving you a decent deal. These cars don't have a lot of markup in them. We ended up financing just over $21k for 60 months @ 6% and are paying $401. $300 is a bit out of reach even on an LS unless you are putting some money down.

We paid 19800 for our 1lt with a 4K down payment. @5.2% 60 months that came out to 327 or so a month. Had we went a year longer I think we were looking at 295 or so.

Why is there two threads on the same thing from the same person?
