This is a very low milage engine removed from a new car which was totaled from a tree falling on it during a severe wind storm. I purchased it and installed it in a project car in 1984, a 420 Daimler limousine which comes with a standard GM transmission, (i.e. no modifications were needed). The engine has only 5K miles on it because the Daimler was never on the road; it was impossible to get it through DOT because that model 420 was never modified for import to the US from England. The engine is still in the Daimler so you can hear it run and inspect it. It is an automatic, 4 barrel carburetor engine. This low, low milage engine is as good as new, just almost broken in.
