This is a minor problem, yet it's driving me insane!
My 2002 Malibu LS no longer honks the horn when I lock the doors with the keychain. I read in the manual that you can turn this on and off by holding the unlock switch while the ignition is on and the car is in park, so I tried doing this, thinking maybe somehow it got turned off, but I don't think this is the issue.
It will sometimes give me a pretty weak 'chirp' when I lock the doors, but then won't do anything the next time.
The horn and alarm both still work.
Am I missing something blatantly obvious, or is my car possessed?
