thanks guys, much appreciated. well, i don't really know what else to say..i bought it in mexico since i'm living over there. Sly Bob, honestly i don't know if it's a 2 LT, in mexico, really only two models came out in 2008, a leather and a non-leather. however they both had a V6. 2009 they changed it up a bit kinda like the one's in the states when the 6 became optional. even then, it's not the same V6 as with the US bu's, mine's a 3.5 where as most (if not all..?) of the states' bu's are 3.6...either way, i love my Bu..:D

Jcort I meant like interior color, leather or cloth, 4spd or 6spd trans, and I believe it was said on this forum that the 3.5 V6 was in the fleet models here in the U.S. Anyway enjoy it.

well, it's a black cloth interior. and it's a 6spd if i'm not mistaken. as for the diff. engines, i honestly don't know much about the difference in models b/w the states and mex or anywhere else for that matter, but enjoy it i will:cool:

it's an AVH-P4000DVD...i'm not really feelin' the knob 100% but the S/Q is superb. i'm likin' it more and more everytime i use it...thanks for the comment :)
oh and no, i lost the steering wheel controls...extra $250 if i wanna retain them...

it's an 08, or 09 (not sure) kicker CVR 12" 4ohm. the box is custom built to the woofer's specs. i gotta kicker 250.2 barely pushing it. i'm planning to upgrade very soon to a bigger amp. nothing huge, but i wanna give the woofer at least a good 400 or 500 watt amp...

does anybody know if a 15 inch sub would fit in my 09 malibu

If you have the paddle shifters on your steering wheel... Put your car on M (manual) and go to the high way, it will say M1(first gear),M2...M6 if it is 6 speed. :D

Only the 6-speeds have the paddle shifters.

thanks for the comments...although looking at the pictures i realize it's been a gooood while since i've posted here lol...i've since upgraded to 2 CVRs w/a 1400 amp (they're only getting half of it) and i chngd up the screen to the avh-p3100dvd. i'll try to get some pics when i get a free moment (easier said then dunn..:p) but yea. the guy that asked bout the 15", i'm pretty sure you can go with it...they just have to build the box to the specs of the trunk, don't expect to be left with much trunk space tho:eek:

Wow, those look sweet! Mine is black, too. I have the stock 18's. What brand are yours and where did you go to get them? Do the tires perform better than stockers? I have the Goodyear Eagle LS2's that just barely do a good job. I've had Big O tires on another car and they performed way better, even with a full-size sidewall!

And if you hadn't said that those are 20's I wouldn't have believed it. They fill the openings just right and look well balanced. Like elcomp says, not over the top, but just right.

thanks for the comps fellas...and that was one of the main things i liked bout them, they're simple yet look clean. i was b/w these & some 7-spke (also chrome devinos). but idunno...once i saw these on, i knew they were it. the brand is Devino, DrivenDaily...i bought them here in mex. where i currently reside..as far as performance, well ive only had 'em a few days but i can't say i notice mucha diff...thnx again for the comps
