Hi, I bought a 3.1L Malibu new in 1998 and it just passed 204,000 miles and runs sweet. I get 27-30 mpg. Last spring on a round trip to Rhode island I got 31.25 mpg.

Just recently it runs a little hotter than it did previously and the cooling fans seem to come on only if the A/C is on. Any ideas??

I use Mobile 1 and it burns no oil, to date. 100K miles on the tires is ok too.
