The first time I clay barred my Malibu I used most of the bottle of quick detailing spray. I don't want to have to buy a new bottle each time I repeat the process. I have heard of people coming up with their own cheaper, but just as effective, homemade lubes at home. I know a lot of people use whatever is recommended but i was wondering if anyone had there own special blend of clay bar lube they would like to share?

Generally I just mix car soap and water in a spray bottle.
