Here I am in the process of finshing my basement with bar and pool table and I thought I had a pretty good selection...Geesh....looks like I need to make a run to the liquor store.

Some of the items I've had for years and only use with special drinks. Others I go through every month or so. Or I may see something new and try it. I should delete the Citadelle Gin now that it's gone....

I'm much more of a simple guy. I just have beer in mine.....but my bar is just the fridge.;)

1 pint Capt Morgan white rum (unopened)
1 quart Jose Cuervo Tequila (unopened)
1 40oz bottle Cape Breton Moonshine (3/4 full) used for cooking and light source during power outages.

Actually lately it's been a revolving door when it comes to Beer and white wine... I was pretty stocked up with about 5 types of IPA's a few stouts and some lights. A few cerveza's as well. Now i'm down to about a case and a half of beer.

Other news, I have a Mai Tai recipe here that I have to find some falernum to make and was curious if others on this site have a favorite Mai Tai recipe to share.

1oz dark rum
1oz light rum
1/2oz orange curacao
1/2oz orgeat syrup
1-1/2oz fresh lime juce
1/4oz grenadine
1/4oz flernum

Put in shaker and shake untill frothy, pour over a glass full of ice and add mint leaf for garnish. Don't forget the straw....

I keep Corona, tequila, margarita mix, and a few other misc things around. That's all I really drink as far as alcohol goes. I will try stuff any time though, but that's all I keep around the house. I am slowly becoming a fan of jagermeister.

I don't like the taste of beer, never have, but someone made me a Jager-Bomb once. I don't know the ratios but it was part Red Bull, Jager, and I think a little whiskey but not sure.

I drank it while I was bowling and didn't get tipsy or buzzed.

Grey Goose Vodka is all I have for casual drinking once in a while. I do like to go around to local brewery's to try craft micro-brew beer. It is fun to do to get out of the house and see what there is other than mainstream beer.

Jager Bombs are alright. I prefer Irish Car Bombs. You should check those out, DrivenDaily.
