Having owned GM cars for years would have never guessed that it had an inner tie rod. All my cars have had the tie rods conected directly to the the steering rack, therefore no inner.

I have the Deeza tie rods (inner+outer) installed on my car. The mechanic who installed them told me that it is very quality product. The price might low because they are the direct manufacturer but Acdelco is a re-packager. I also did some research when I was replacing the tie rods and decided on Deeza. If you can also check Deeza Chassis web page, their products are manufactured in Europe and premium quality products. It is not cheap Chinese product. I had 50K+ miles since I installed the tie rods. Really happy so far.

I learned something today, so to ECTAR I appologize. Please forgive my previous ignorance. I was sorry to hear about your most recent discovery. I hope you are able to get it fixed for a reasonable price.
