Purchased an '09 LT2. Love it. One problem that no one has been able to help with.

Following all of the procedures, I can "PAIR" my cell phone. All works well. . . until I leave the car for a while. When I come back the pairing has gone away. If I try to make a call it reverts to ONSTAR - which I don't want.

Then I pair again. (First I must delete a paring. It does remember the name tag(s) I've used before. eg. "That sounds too much like ____") Both Chevrolet and my provider say that shouldn't happen; that when I turn on the car, Bluetooth should come on without the need to re-pair.

Operator error? I don't think so but I'm willing to listen.

I too am now having the same problem. Did you ever find out what the fix was?
Thanks.

A reprogram of the VCIM per the instructions in bulletin #08-08-46-008B should fix this issue.

After many tries and a visit or two to the dealer, the car "learned" my bluetooth cell phone and preferred it to OnStar. Don't know how or why. Just keep trying.

I am having the same issue on my 09 2LT. My dealer says my phone isn't compatible but if it wasn't compatible then it wouldn't pair in the first place. I am using a Blackberry 8900 from At&t.

I too am having the same problem with my bluetooth. Does anyone know if they Iphone 3GS is compatible with the GM bluetooth system? I can pair, but it doesnt wont reconnect after the phone goes to sleep or i leave and come back. Very frustrating because i've paired it like 4 times and this may also be an issue too. HELP!!
