Congrats, and AWESOME choice. I've seen people come from Honda's (several), Toyota's, Acura's, etc. for new Malibu's, and even got a chuckle a couple of weeks back at the dealer when someone was moving their stuff from a green '99-01'ish BMW 3-series into their new Silver Moss '09 Malibu 1LT (a 4-cyl 6-speed with little extra). The car is just RIGHT in so many ways, for sure, it's winning over everyone.
