Hey, I was just bored and wondering if anyone had pix of their car with LS/1LT wheels without the plastic covers? I've been tempted to pull the covers off, and paint the steelies white to match the car, just for a different look... well, that and I like white wheels on white cars, and I'm too cheap to buy new wheels right now, plus I haven't found anything I really like.

Well, just to see what it would look like I pulled the covers off. With the exception of a lack of center caps (which really doesn't bother me. I don't run center caps on my Belvedere and may be switching to steelies there too) they look pretty cool for cheap steelies... I'm going to see if I can still find some of that wash off spray paint, and paint them white. I'll take some pix this weekend. I'm kinda liking the look... it's different.

I would be interested on what it looks like.

Well, here it is... At first I thought I like it with the bare lugnuts, and thought about getting new chrome ones, but now I'm liking it with the black ones. Thoughts? I just popped the black lug nut covers out of the wheel covers, and threaded them on.
I'm kinda thinking about painting the wheels white, but not sure. Thoughts?
I'm thinking this will do until I can find something aftermarket I like...

The factory steelies under the wheel covers are five spokes, instead some sort of solid dish with many circles/holes (that's the best I can describe the others I've seen). I had no idea! They look good.
