Hello. I just joined and I just love my malibu. I got the LTZ in white BUT with the 2.4l ecotec 4 cylinder engine. I love the gas miles but I just came out of a Lancer Evolution with 400+ hp and I literally feel like I am standing still when I accelerate. Here's the problem, I can't find ANY engine aftermarket parts for this engine. The dealership said that no intake is available. However, they also said that I could purchase a computer chip from the dealership. It is made by Volant and it ads 20-25 hp and saves 2-4 additional mpg. They want $500 for it and I know that's overpriced...., it's a dealership. Can anyone please help me find the following for the ecotec 2.4:
1. computer chip or programmer
2. air intake (would prefer the FULL intake system as opposed to the drop in filter)
3. 19' sharp looking rims with 235-45-19 tires

those rims are nice but I agree with pizza man. If u want to see some silly SICK rims that fit the malibu click on the link. these would look rediculous on any 08 malibu! pricey but definitely worth it if u want a 1 of a kind ride! let me know what you guys think.
