If anyone has ordered a 2009 yet, can you please tell me when they are expected to be delivered? Also, I can order a bu even if its for lease, right?

Yup....you can order it to lease it or buy it

But you only get whatever incentives are available whenever the car comes in (NOT at the time when you order it)

Nope...no clue

Just go to your local Chevy dealer & they should be able to tell you when you can order one & how long it would take and all that good stuff

barhoc11 - Just an FYI - In Canada I was able to place an order for an 09' see link above. I hope to be able to call my dealer today and get an update on my order. Hope this helps, and like others have said, you should be able to go to your dealer and place an order.

I ordered mine last Thursday. They told me to expect delivery end of August/beginning of September.

Per GM Media Online, the 2009 Malibu starts production on June 16, 2008 - TODAY!!!

So that means all 2008 models are enroute to dealers. This also means the 2009 Program Orders (starter dealer stock) will be running through now with customer orders to follow. I bet you could have an ordered car in hand by mid-July with any luck or the first week of August if not lucky.

I assume with the 2009 Job One started, the pricing is now firmed up and a real invoice can come out of Dealerworld.
