Malibooboo 03-16-2008, 07:28 PM Sweet - what type of interior did you get?

I can't believe your grass is green in Pa.

Not to mention the photos were taken in January! ;)
Malibooboo 03-20-2008, 05:15 AM Thanks for the pics. I haven't seen any in that color so I was curious what they look like. Brandow is like 5 minutes from my house. How were they to deal with?

It was the easiest transaction I ever experienced. I used to buy all my vehicles from Charles Olds and Cadillac here in Bristol, but they closed. All the good folks I knew at Charles went to Brandow, including my favorite mechanic. I called, they hooked me up with the sales manager, I looked at the only Bu they had on display and went home. Called the manager the next day and ordered the Z. Everything was done over the phone.
BTW, Brandow talks in terms of "Dealer Invoice" not MSRP. I think I got a terrific price.

Probably the most difficult part is driving over that confounded bridge.... ;)

And if I go via the turnpike it costs $4.80 round trip!
08MalibuLeaser 03-24-2008, 07:08 PM Can someone give me a simple explanation on how to post pictures on here -- computer illiterate!!!
Many thanks!

08MalibuLeaser 03-25-2008, 05:45 PM Thanks Lee - picked up the car last night == I've allready put 130 miles on it!!! And I live 20 miles from the dealer!!
Chevy did a great job of making that wood grain trim look good.
08MalibuLeaser 03-25-2008, 06:49 PM It's funny, I didn't think I would like the wood but after sitting in the car and driving it - really has grown on me - I dig it! My dad's old Mercury Monarch had the most awful wood grain patterns.

I'm on the fence with the wood grain. It's nice to have something to break up the gray plastics (my Grand Prix is all grey plastic). I'm sure it will grow on me as well and that pics don't do it justice.
My other concern is whether that large silver area on the center console stack will be prone to scratching.

If I'm lucky, I may be able to take them without using a flash. That may give a truer picture of what it really looks like.

I don't know if "prone" is the word I'd use, but I'm sure you can scratch it if your careless.
08MalibuLeaser 04-03-2008, 02:38 PM the wood grain rules....

Where in Pa are you?
jasbre 04-27-2008, 05:10 PM I finally got around to taking some pictures of the 'Bu. I've had her about 1.5 months and put almost 1600 miles on her.

What's the coiled wire for and where do you have it terminated on the dash?

08MalibuLeaser 04-28-2008, 04:31 AM Cars look sharp all - I need to take some more pics of my 2LT Bu'. Just passed 1 month old and allready 1400 miles - I make excuses to drive her!
That two-twoned interior really looks sharp :)

Looks like it's going to a radar detector.

Thanks Malo, but I can't take any credit for that. The photos were taken just after we got it home from the dealership.
jasbre 04-28-2008, 03:14 PM Nice jasbre, I like those wheels.
Thank you, Pizza Man. You definitely have a sharp looking 'Bu as well.

howd u get color matched bow ties?
Malibooboo 04-29-2008, 05:19 AM I'm so jealous of you Pennsy people who don't have to clutter up the front grill with a license plate..... :(
Amge63 04-29-2008, 05:32 AM Looks like it's going to a radar detector.
Yes, it's a radar detector. By the way, my Tomtom fits into the dash top bin nicely. It has a nice angle that makes it perfect for me to view while driving. The only bad part is I just have to leave the door open.

Nice black tape....It's a special heat-shrinkable satin black tape that I had from years ago. Couldn't tell you what brand it is. Sorry.
