Does anyone knows or has some of these tires, I was looking into buying some for my car. Heard they are excellent high-performance all-season tires! Thanks:)

What size are you looking into?

Are these for the stock wheels? If so you want a 225/50/18.

Yes they are stock the only size they carry that's close is the 225/45/18's

That won't work, it is a lower profile and will through off your speedo. Might look a little weird too....

Just my opinion but I just put a set of the LTZ 10 spoke rims on my LS. The tires I bought were Hankook Optimo H727. It is a great looking tire and got awesome reviews pretty much everywhere including Consumer Reports. I went with the stock size of 225/50 R18. I know it makes it easier to go with a 225/45 as far as options go but there are good tires in the stock size. If you use the 225/45 R18 your going to have a really small sidewall, probably a rougher ride and like SilverLTZ said, it's going to throw the Speedo off pretty bad, 3.3% too fast to be exact.

I know this is an old thread but just wanted to see how those ExtremeContact tires went if you bought them? GREAT handling tires. Amazing difference with these and the stock Optimo's.

I have these wheels in 225/35/20 and they have been rock solid for me. I have rims so that's why I have the 20s. Surprisingly the ride on them is good overall. If you hit a serious patch of rough road you will feel it but the ride on them is very smooth overall. I love the Continentals I"m riding on. I think the key to the good ride is that I haven't lowered the car. I think that would make the ride horrible so I'm not even trying to lower it. Besides the wheels fill up the fender well area just fine to me. Not much wheel gap space after putting the wheels in.

I agree with you not lowering the ride. I, on the other hand, stuck with 18" wheels and the DWS tires and lowered it just enough to stiffen up the ride on corners but handles MUCH better than the stock springs. A big difference if you haven't already stuffed up those wheel wells. How are your rims holding up? No damage and such?

The rims overall are still holding up pretty good overall. I've had them for exactly a full year now and have pushed them thru all seasons and they have served their purpose well for the weather we've had in the DC/MD/VA area. I will admit that there are some scrapes on them from normal everyday driving and I need to find a place that deals with restoring wheels. Would love to get them recoated and restored back to 100% like-new look instead of 88-93% they are now. Its not bad at all but when you really look at them you can see the scuffs.

Wow, I hope you find a place that can do that for ya. From hearing that I'm DEFINITELY putting my stock wheels/tires back on before the weather gets too cold here in NJ. I'm looking forward to seeing how the stock rims look with the vehicle lowered. Good luck finding someone to do the refurbishing on your wheels!

If you want to stay close to the stock size you can run 245/45/18.
