I am thinking about 20s but don't really want to sacrifice a lot of the ride quality. What is everyone running for size and tires?

Also what is everyone running for 18" tires? The lug pattern is 5X110 right?

I have had 20's for a few months now and love them. I went with Enkei LS-R's and Falken FK452 245/35/ZR-20 performance tires. Honesty, the ride quality didn't really change. It is a little stiffer, but hardly noticeable. And the handling is MUCH better. Side to side movement and steering response is night and day. I looked into 22's, but IMO they are just too big and add to much weight. My 20's actually weigh less then my old 18's. My best mod to date, and I get tons of looks....go for it!

I am very much looking forward to getting 20's. Probably gonna be ordering some this week. Im sure the handling will feel better and love the look of 20's on this car.

Handling and braking are improved, as I figured. Only reason they lost a tenth to 60 is wheel weight. I was very careful about that and went with lighter wheels then stock. Also the stock LS2 tires are very heavy. I went with a summer performance tire to also keep weight down. I actually lost a few pounds at each corner by doing my research. Many, many cheap plus size wheels can be VERY heavy, be careful about that. Also remember chrome wheels are the heaviest by far. A 16" chrome plated wheel can weigh more then a painted 19" wheel of the same kind.

Does anyone know the rim weight of the Stock LTZ 17's? I may consider just uping to 18's to save on some of the additional weight the 20's add. I am thinking about getting 18's with summer tires and then putting winter tires on my stockers.

LTZ's already come with 18's. And they are heavy. My 20's weigh less then the stock 18's. The dealer installed chrome 18's weigh ALOT.

Ooopps, Guess I should know that since both the car and truck have 18's... Some reason I was thinking 17's...

No problem, we all have our "old" days!

What IS the weight of a stock 18" rim....rim alone. I am comparing those vs aftermarket 18s. Thanks!
