just wondering does anyone know if the transmission case is the same for both setup's? if they are wouldn't the components in the 6 speed be smaller there for be weaker. whatya think

No offense, but that's a crazy thought. They'd never use the same case and just fill it with smaller parts...not how engineering works.

The 6-speed used with 4-cyl cars is 100% different from the 4-speed also used in them. Quite different in drive, too, in a good way.
