Some of the chrome can be carefully removed and then sold or traded to someone who wants or needs it.

The extra chrome on an LTZ is the door handles and grille as far as I know.

To the OP, I agree with you wife. On the black the chrome handles are too much. I like them on my car since it is silver.

It can be, but the bumper has to come off.
