Hope you guys can help me on this but recently my temperature gauge on my DIC is reading 20-30 degrees warmer than the outside air temps. It does not matter if it is warm or cold. Also does not matter if I have the heat or A/C on. Thanks in advance> :)

Weird, maybe the sensor fell or is bad?

I'm curious about mine as well. Mine seems to read higher than the actual outside temp to. Does anyone know where the sensor is located?

I'll have to see if I can figure out if it did fall because that would make the most sense to me. Hopefully it's not bad because I think it was attached to the bottom of the windshield in my car.

On the newer generation the sensor is behind the grill on a bar spanning it. I once had mine reading 39 degrees for 6 miles after having the dealership reflash my Bluetooth. I called because the temp outside was 61 degrees. They said I had to go at least 10 miles before it would start working again. Right at 10 miles it changed! That seems to be only when they've reflashed. After that the temp started reading more accurately. I don't know how far off it is, but it seems to be consistent even if it's not dead on.
I hope this helps with your '05 generation.
