My 2010 I4, A6 has hesitated a few times quite badly when accelerating. A few months ago a dealer worked on it. It was ok until this week. When I was pulling into heavy traffic it did it again and I had a close call. Anyone else had this problem?

Getting any warning lights on the dash? Throwing any codes? Running cheap gasoline?

Your still under warranty so I'd bring it right in. Could be something as simple as a bad sensor.

I noticed if I hit the gas hard from a dead stop, it does hesitate sometimes. Doesn't happen in any other situations. If I accelerate normally, it doesn't hesitate. For the time being, I don't trust accelerating out of a stop sign or making a left turn across traffic unless I have plenty of room. Not sure if it's going to hesitate or not.

No warnings on the dash. Cheap gas? I normally by at Meijer, but it's not "cheap" : )

This is while coasting around 10 to 20 MPH, then suddenly accelerating, like pulling into traffic. No problem from a dead start.
