I have a 06' malibu 3.5 v6 70,000 miles

It is a great car but I tend to notice when it idles it tends to shake (when at a stop light or when it is in park). It does not shake horribly but just enough to where it is annoying. it idles at about 700 rpm.

A little bit about the car. I recently drove it out to California from Minnesota(about a month ago). Before then it was my parents car so it was well taken care of. I never really drove the car before coming out here so I do know if it did the shaking before the trip.

I called my father to see if he had any problems and he said no.(he also refuses to believe that there could be anything wrong with it now.) He thinks it should go 100,000 plus before anything major needs to be done. I am only asking if there is anything I could do because I do not want to stuck out on the freeway with a dead car. I have tried putting fuel injector cleaner in it but thats it. I also changed the oil last week.

Is there anything anybody reccommends on trying before bringing it in?

Some shaking is normal, as that engine does not have a balance shaft. I even notice it sometimes in my car, and I did in my old G6 too. If it is moderate I would not worry, it is normal. If you think it is excessive, you could have a bad motor mount.
