I recently purchased a 2009 hybrid model, was wondering how the malibu handled in the snow and down pour rain. Also anyone having any problems with road salt in the winter?

I'm not sure I want to remember this past winter. I wore out three snow shovels. Bad weather handling is largely a function of tires but mine handled snow no different than any other front wheel drive midsize sedans. As far as the various salts and stuff they put on the road, it's too soon to tell if there's going to be a corrosion issue.
