My car is Malibu Classic LS 2008. I was driving when the screen showed LOCKED and the radio and all info of sensors was OUT. However, I can start the engine and drive without indicators of sensor lights. How can disable the LOCKED?
Anybody can help me? I will appreciate it.

So, the radio randomly locked? First make sure there is no loose connections and then the dealer has to unlock the radio which takes no time at all.

Thats pretty much it. I've seen that "locked" once when I was replacing my OEM deck in my truck (cd player no worky) with my buddy's OEM deck. Each deck is programmed to a specific vehicle to prevent the use of them in other vehicles if they were stolen.

Since this is a '08 Classic, I'm gonna move this to the proper section.

It is possible to unlock this yourself as I did it a few years ago on a Grand Prix. Part of the process is impersonating a dealer when you call General Motors for the unlock code. Took many hours of searching Google to find out how to do it.
The information is out there but frankly, it's easier to just take it to the dealer to get it done.

Unlocking a radio now requires the tech 2 scan tool. All that has to be done is to relearn the VIN for the radio and it works. It takes me about 2 minutes to unlock a radio on newer cars. It is a lot easy than the old school, spend a half hour on the phone with GM, way.
