I assume you were on CSS.net?
I traded in my 2007 SS/SC for my 2010 2LT Bu. I miss the balt for its quickness and handling, but don't miss only 2 doors ;)

Spent some time on CSS.net, yeah. I definitely miss the speed and the manual transmission... but I enjoy the smooth highway ride and extra hauling space that the Malibu has.

What a car! Must have been fun to drive but unfortunately our needs change (for whatever reasons) and we move on to something else.

I always liked those. I traded in a '07 G6 GTP for my Malibu. I still have my '00 Camaro SS weekend car, and am looking for another "toy".

Looks like a nice car. Much better taken car of than what people do to them around here. I traded my 04' Impala SS for my bu' and don't regret it, except for power. That is what my Maverick will be for when it is painted. Gotta ask, what is the badge on the front?

I traded my '08 Suzuki XL-7 Limited. Had loads of options, but also got around 15 MPG with the same 3.6L VVT V6 (Only built in Japan by Suzu). It had a 3rd row, and a DVD player, and was a GREAT vacation vehicle, until you stopped at the pump... That's what AWD gets you though - Smaller gas tanks and worse mileage.
I think the Equinox will do fine this year on the annual road trip, and will be a joy to test mileage with on the open road, with it's average 23-25MPG highway.
The Malibu will be sitting in the driveway resting with only 1500 miles on it for the next week and a half. Don't get any ideas birds!

It was a very engaging car to drive. I put solid engine and transmission mounts in it to help with traction... thing shook like a NASCAR when running. It didn't have a crapload of power like some of my friends' ones did, only putting about 240 to the wheels. But that was enough to handle most of the cars I ran against. With the wing off nobody paid it a bit of attention on the streets, until it was too late. Surprised quite a few S2K and Mustang drivers and took a few trophies at local shows with all the under-hood goodies.
The badge on the front is a Decepticon symbol. I took those pictures shortly after the first Transformers movie came out. You can see it a bit better in this image.

I really miss it... kick myself sometimes for trading it, but I knew it wouldn't do what I was needing when I got the transfer to SLC. So, gotta move on. Maybe I'll get lucky and buy another one in a few years, who knows.
