Does anyone eles find it crazy that congress are using the argument that they oil companies don't use the open land now as an excuse to block off-shore drilling.

If there not going to use it then why have a prohibition on it.

Seems to me they'd want to lift the ban and prove how evil Bush and the 'BIG OIL' boogy man are.

Bush isn't the only 'big oil' guy in politics. many of the democrats also have millions in oil....

The old argument that we wouldn't feel the effects of additional drilling and exploration for 5 years should have been hashed out 5 years ago. Drill it pump it make it cheaper.
