I have an opportunity to buy a 2006 LT (2.2 Litre) with 37,000 KM (I'm in Canada) for what sounds slike a good price. The car looks good, clean etc but I have read on the internet about some issues (intake manifold gaskets leaking, etc) so I'm sort of looking for some advice. Good car potentially or not?????

The 2.2L ECOTEC is a solid, tried and true motor. The infamous intake manifold gasket issues were with older V6 motors.

I would try and test drive it... My wife and I have an 06 with the 3.5 V6... we test drove the 4 cyl and it felt sluggish and was always looking for the right gear.... we drove the v6 and it was a totally different car...
