DrivenDaily 07-18-2010, 07:16 PM Cool! Both are nice looking cars. Ah, we can dream, eh?
elcompaLalo 07-18-2010, 07:53 PM Ssweet cars! Can you believe I saw both of those cars yesterday? On my way out of a job-site, saw the Vette in the driveway of a house and they had the garage door open and an AM sittin inside.
Silver LTZ 07-19-2010, 06:48 AM Sick Z, funny that it is at Wally World.
RaineMan 07-19-2010, 10:54 AM The ZR-1s are nice... saw a few back in Charlotte. Too bad that, like most Corvettes, they are being driven my grey-haired old men who like to drive 5MPH under the speed limit.
If I am ever fortunate enough to be able to afford a real 300+hp sports car you'll never catch me b/c I will be flat out gone.

Can't agree on that. I know three guys in my club with them, and they know a few more. They are not kids (they can't afford them) but they aren't that old and two of them track them. Old guys buy base automatic convertible Vettes, car guys by the Grand Sports, Z06s and ZR1s. Or if all they can swing is a base car, they get a manual with options. I have owned two Vettes and know alot of owners down here at least, that isn't that case. Thankfully! ;)
Sandhopper 07-19-2010, 07:33 PM Boy they are paying those greeters too much!

Haha! I gotta get a job there then.
RaineMan 07-20-2010, 08:55 AM It's probably the store manager or district manager.
I know the store manager at my local wal-mart drives a fully loaded 2010 Camaro SS with a full body kit and god knows what under the hood.
onecrazyfoo4u 07-20-2010, 09:49 AM So the new Vetts have a plexiglass hood section, to see the engine cover? Not too sure if I like that, kind of weird. Still beautiful machines...
tygriff 07-20-2010, 10:14 AM The plexiglass is to show off the fact that it has a supercharger on the V8. I think it is kind of cheesy. However, even with plexiglass on the hood, I think its beautifull.

Just the ZR1 has that.
onecrazyfoo4u 07-20-2010, 10:51 AM Ah okay, yeah it is cheesy...but still a sweet ride!
ChicagoMalibu2009 07-20-2010, 02:40 PM I just saw an Aston martin in the parking garage I'm in two days a week... something looked funny so I walked a bit closer and it had been driven into a post or something... then touch-up painted and left. Yeesh. Now, could have happened two days ago. But IMO if he was taking care of it he'd leave it alone until it could be fully repaired. Any reputable shop will be justifiably thrown off by not seeing the original damage when they go to quote it out.
Ah, whats the difference anyhow. No Aston's in my future even if i had the dough. Thats probably my least favorite high-end marque.
green03malibu 07-25-2010, 05:39 PM I would love to buy any Corvette to be honest with you. That ZR1 is something though...
