I just got a brand new '08 malibu (LT with the 4 cylinder). I looked in the owners manual and couldn't find the break in period. Does anyone know how long the break in period should be?
Thanks in Advance...

Page 2-22 of the owners manual. Not very involved, basically go easy for the first 500 miles.

No need to be going over 112 in these cars. If you must go fast, buy a motorcycle.
here is a picture of my top speed using the Top Speed Recall feature. :D

Damn thats insane, hit something on a motorcycle at that speed and they will be scraping your remains off the pavement.

GTPMalibu, and FenwichHockey - Yeah but it will only be a matter of time, before you can flash the PCM and remove that lovely limiter! Give it time and someone will come up with the information we want!! :O)
