I notice that the wipers on my LTZ make a solid "thump" as they reach the end of each wipe cycle; have others noticed the same noise? Have any of you complained to the dealer? What was done to address the complaint, if anything?
By way of comparison, my wife has a 2010 Ford Focus, and the wipers are absolutely soundless...no motor/linkage noise whatsoever....truly a benchmark!!!
I add the wiper noise complaint to a host of other issues with this vehicle!:mad:

Mine are pretty quiet. Do you have the original blades? They weren't the greatest.

Does it sound like it's the blade thumping as it is "turning around"? If so, Silver is right the OEM was junk and replace them.

If the unit itself might have been set up wrong or have an issue, and the mechanism "hits" the end every time, then go in for bumper to bumper service before that's out... The way you describe it, it's not right and is eaither the easy $20 blade fix or something under warranty.
