Finally modified my 09 Malibu, 1.4 Eibach springs (the only ones out there!), smoked tails, painted emblems, HID's, tint, etc...Check out my profile for pics.

I have a buddy with Eibachs and his doesn't look like that. A 1.5" drop should be fixable by a good alignment shop. You might wanna look into it more. I had Eibachs on my old G6 too, same car, and the shop got it perfect.

I actually got an exact match to the factory paint and had a local custom shop remove the tails and side markers and they sprayed them for me. They also taped off the chevy emblems and sprayed them also. I was very impressed with their work. No rattle cans involved! :)
