Been saying I'd do it... finally did. Traded the Malibu for a 07 Impreza 2.5I Wagon with the 5-speed manual and 20,5xx miles.

I must say I feel better already. No more finicky transmission, clunky engine mounts, squeaky brakes or noisy power steering.

The Impreza isn't as big as the Malibu and obviously isn't as quick, but I do enjoy the 5-speed a lot... driving is actually entertaining again. The hatch back will be great for hauling, and the AWD performance is going to be wonderful in the winter.

Wish I could have... but low mile stock WRXs go for mega bucks around here, if you can find them at all. I'd just get in trouble if I had something really fast anyways... cops around here are all over speeders.

Nice... I'm actually considering trading my Malibu for a 330Xi 5-spd... Probably won't happen, but I've been crunching numbers to see what I can do.

Congrats on the replacement, I could tell you were never really happy with the Malibu. So good luck with the Subaru.
