We have had a couple of foggy mornings here and the windows have been really foggy.

I am finding that the rear defog is awfully slow. It doesn't seem to work at all. The window only clears up when water from the roof rolls on to it.

I had darker tint put on the windows and I wonder if that is somehow to blame. The tint lays on top of the defog grid. I also wonder if maybe there is some electrical connection the the grid that I should check? Maybe it was disconnected when the tint was installed.

A rear window defogger is really meant to de-fog on the inside. If you have dew, or ice on the outside, it will do that too. But take longer.

Tint has nothing to do with it unless a line got cut, and then you would see that some lines were not doing their jobs.

Right you are. Yesterday, I had fog on the inside and it cut through it almost immediately. Thanks.
