I noticed that the gap on the passenger side between the tail light on the trunk and the tail light mounted to the body is significantly larger than on the driver side. Carfax and Autocheck both said there were no accidents or anything. Is this something the dealer would fix? Is it easy enough for me to fix myself? Does anyone else notice the same issue on their car?

Thanks all.

There have been some that have said fitment of some of the body panels was off. Some tighter than others (which will cause chipping of the paint) and some gaps. I found some on mine and just gave it a nudge, problem solved!

I don't have any paint chipping I don't think... But what did you nudge? Did you loosen any bolts?

Thanks

Nah, I don't know how they fasten the body parts together. It seemed to bulge out a bit so I pushed in some until it was how it should be. Nice and flush with the neighboring body part. I am past my warranty now but if your still covered under the 3yr/36k then I would just have the dealership make the proper adjustments to the panels.

Good call... I'm at 31,500 so better now than later! I scheduled to have it looked at on Saturday and they did say that it should be covered...

The wife's trunk wasn't aligned well enough when I bought it. I adjusted it myself and it is all good now.

I was tempted... but I don't wanna screw it up and end up scratching the fender or chewing up the bolts or something... I'll let everyone know what happens...

I noticed that my bumper is sagging the other day (there's a gap between the very top of the bumper, and the bottom of the rear fender on both sides of the car.

How do I fix this? It's about a 1/2" wide gap...

Thanks for the link, looks pretty simple to take off. I'm guessing it's just some type of clips holding the back end up along the trunk then? I think both screws are in place, but it sags majorly.

Well there was no way I could do that. All I had to do was adjust the hinges and rubber stoppers.

It sounds like the top edge of the bumper fascia slipped off the brackets. I'm not sure the best way to approach it, though. Take it off and check for any cracks/tear? You'll probably need a second set of hands.
