Silly question but whatever. I need to change the spark plugs on a 97 malibu but can't seem to find spark plug wires leading to the plugs unless it's under the car? lol any info would help. THX in advance.

Welcome to the forum.:) I'm thinking you have a 2.4L which has the coil over plug (COP) setup. In order to get to the spark plugs, you need to unfasten four bolts holding down the engine cover (actually the electronic ignition coil/module/cover assembly), unplug the electrical connector, and then pull the cover straight up.
