Hello all, pleasure to be here. Well I am finally getting my 2003 Malibu up and running again, well try to at least. I am having trouble where some wires hook back up to. I will provide links to the pictures I have taken and describe them as best as I can. I have a 2002 motor and a 2003 wiring so I don't know if any small changes were made to the wires? Anyways here y'all go.

This one is tied in with the fuel injector wires, comes out by the intake manifold but I have no Idea what it is and where its supposed to go, it was not on the 2002 wiring harness, but is on my 2003. :/

This one is in the middle of the block held by a bolt by the oil filter, I believe it is paired with the A/C compressor plug.

This plug is the camshaft position sensor I believe and I can't find where it plugs into even though I think it it's supposed to plug into a wire coming from the fuel injectors running under the intake manifold but I can't find it and no the green plug does not plug into this one.

All help is appreciated! Help me get my baby back up and running, it's been over a year!

It would help if you included more detail. Sometimes there're differences between divisions and within the same model/year even. Why does your profile say yours is a 2003 Malibu Classic? What's the first 11 characters of your VIN? And, the first 11 of the VIN this motor came out of?

Ah, misunderstanding of what a classic was on my behalf. My car looks exactly like this one though.

Well the engine was bought and I was told it came out of a 2002 Malibu (trim level unknown, never asked) so I couldn't tell you the VIN of the car the motor came out of. So I guess it would be no use to tell you my VIN but just in case the first eleven are 1G1ND5ZJX3M.

Okay, I think the connectors pictured, in the order you linked, are CMP sesnor, CKP sensor, and CMP sensor pigtail (from 2002, different from 2003).

Maybe you could use the following PCM wiring diagrams:

Oh, belated welcome to the forum.:)

Ahh well she is back up and running, just have a few kinks I need to work out. I just used the 2002 harness and everything plugged right up, no missing wires or anything. My Tachometer doesn't work though. =[ Ill post another thread of my current problems, hopefully you can help again. Thank you very much for your time! =]
